On Saturday, I left Boston for my grandparents' place in Connecticut. Matt helped me with some last minute packing, then we packed up the car and took off.

The place in Connecticut is gorgeous, and was a good place to decompress after a couple weeks of packing and getting ready to leave.

In addition to relaxing, it was my uncle's birthday, so we saw our cousin Lily.

The place was teeming with birds, including this yellow warbler.

And this oriole.

And this tree swallow, who happily posed for about ten minutes as I snapped pictures.

And, though there's a mountain to the west, I was treated to a nice sunset my last night there.

And Wednesday morning I took off for Ithaca.
